School Program

Water issues are key to environmental education. Learning about their places in the water cycle helps students see the links between their daily lives and important environmental issues like water conservation and pollution.

MWRA educational guides contain hands-on activities for a range of topics and grade levels and are supported by free teacher workshops. For more information, please contact us.

Annual Poster and Writing Contest

Students in schools across the MWRA service area are challenged to create posters and essays about different topics each year. Winners are honored at a ceremony every spring.

This year, students are asked to use their creative skills to design a poster and/or write an essay, poem or story explaining the importance of a water conservation.
