Scheduled Water Infrastructure Test in Waltham

On Thursday, February 6, 2025, the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority (MWRA), in coordination with the City of Waltham, will be conducting water distribution infrastructure testing within the city. Testing is expected to take just the one day, and will occur during normal business hours, 9:00AM to 5:00PM.

Important to note, water service to residential homes, businesses, and other properties will not be disrupted. However, discolored water and lower water pressure may occur while the test is ongoing. Should discolored water occur, please run faucets until water returns to normal clarity (it can take up to approximately 10 minutes) before drinking or using for dishes, laundry, or other household needs. Any pressure issues should be resolved following the scheduled test.

For more information, please contact Troy Wall, MWRA Community Relations Liaison, at Troy.Wall@mwra.com or (617) 305-5762.
