Contractor finished clearing the traffic controls on Eastern Ave early this morning. All lanes are now open and this project is complete.

Starting Monday, May 8, 2023, MWRA will commence an important CSO project along Willoughby Lane in Chelsea. To enable construction vehicle access to and from the site, Eastern Avenue will have a lane drop along both sides of the roadway.
Work is expected to occur Monday through Friday from 7:00AM to 5:30PM, and on Saturdays from 7:00AM to 3:30PM, and is expected to be completed by July 1, 2023. During work hours, a police detail will be on site to assist with vehicular traffic.
