Starting this winter season, the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority (MWRA) will commence efforts to remove hazardous trees along the Hultman Aqueduct in the City of Framingham. Hazardous trees pose a threat to safety, personal property, and subsurface infrastructure. The process to remove the trees, which is expected to take several months, will occur intermittently this winter and spring as weather conditions and other circumstances permit.
