Dear Resident:
As part of the MWRA’s Contract 7457 Section 101 Extension Project, the new Section 101 Extension Pipeline and connection to Waltham’s water distribution system near the intersection of Lexington Street and Totten Pond Road will be activated the week of August 4th, 2025.
Residents and businesses may experience some discoloration in their water following the activation of the new pipeline and connection. If discolored water occurs, please let faucets run for a short period of time (approximately five to ten minutes) until clarity returns. Loss of water service is not expected.
