I wake up in the morning
and turn the faucet on
You never think about
“what if the water was all gone?”

It’s important to conserve water
from the Quabbin Reservoir
Even though we have a lot
it has to travel far

There are many benefits
of conserving in your home
It saves a lot of energy
and money that you own

If you want to try conserving
then here are some good tips
Like using flow fixtures
and repairing leaks and drips

Don’t leave the sink running
each day when you brush
Your teeth will be clean
and you won’t have to rush

Next time you take a soak
and you’re filling up the bath
Instead of filling it all the way
try just doing half

Rather than taking baths
try to take a shower
Also taking shorter ones
will save hot water and power

Plant flowers in your garden
that don’t need much
So you can save water, effort,
free time, and such

These are tips to help conserve with the MWRA

I hope these tips are helpful so let’s conserve today!
