On Monday April 26th, MWRA’s contractor, Unified Contracting, Inc. will begin the reconstruction of the intersection at Shirley Street and Tafts Avenue. The purpose of this project is to make this intersection safer for both vehicles and pedestrians in the area. This work is expected to take 30 days to complete. Construction hours will be Monday through Friday 7:00am – 3:00pm.

A picture showing the newly designed intersection and detour map are included below and on the reverse side of this flyer. A police detail will be present during construction activities.
