You may have noticed discoloration due to iron particles in Chestnut Hill Reservoir today. This occurred as MWRA was refilling the reservoir after the winter drawdown to control invasive plants. MWRA staff collected samples and tested the water. The color has dissipated and there are no water quality concerns.
