MWRA Leak Repair Work Will Take Place
on Boylston and Lee Streets, Brookline

MWRA will make necessary repairs to a 48-inch water main in Brookline starting on Monday, October 17. 2016. The project is expected to last approximately five days.

The work will take place at the intersection of Boylston and Lee Streets in Brookline and may affect area traffic.

The work may cause temporary water discoloration. If discolored water does occur, it will result from a small amount of iron in local pipes. Please note that iron will stain light colored items in your laundry, especially when bleach is used. Residents may want to wait for the water to clear before using it.

If you have any questions, please contact Jeff McLaughlin at (617) 305-5762, or MWRA's 24-hour water line at (617) 305-5950.
