Work is set to resume in order to complete dam repairs and erosion control work at the Weston Reservoir and the Foss Reservoir in Framingham.

In March, 2012, MWRA contractor TFord Company, Inc. will mobilize on site with staff and equipment, establish erosion control and sedimentation controls where required, repair and repoint granite, reset some large stones and repair any eroded sections of earthen dams. Final site restoration, including loam placement and reseeding will follow. Work is expected to be complete in June, 2012.

This work is part of the MWRA Dam Modification Project, required by the Massachusetts Office of Dam Safety.

For more information, please contact Tom Lindberg, MWRA Public Affairs at (617) 660-7676 or Tom.Lindberg@mwra.state.ma.us.

Updates will be posted on www.mwra.com as the work progresses.
