A local birdwatcher has identified a rare Bobolink nesting at the site of the MWRA’s covered storage tank in the High Fells in Stoneham.

The tank is located within the Middlesex Fells Reservation, and provides 20 million gallons of drinking water storage, is covered with a meadow which is now in full bloom.
