The MWRA water system tests for all of the following contaminants. Per state and federal law, MWRA and your local water department have systems in place to let customers and authorities know if any contaminants were ever found in the water system.

MWRA publishes monthly water quality test results and also sends an annual water quality report to every home and business it serves.

If any contaminants were found in your water, they would be listed in the annual water quality report.
