In 2009, demand on the MWRA water system was 193.13 million gallons per day, average.

For comparison:

In 2008, demand on the MWRA water system was 202.49 million gallons per day, average.

In 2007, demand on the MWRA water system was 214.2 million gallons per day, average.

 

 

 

 

 

Based on a detailed analysis of major factors affecting water demand, MWRA projects that system demand will remain well below 300 million gallons per day.
