"Tim's Tap Water Revelation"

One windy day in April, Tim came running home from school with a project on how tap water is better for the environment and is just as good and healthy as using regular bottled water that is purchased at the store. He doesn't really know what to write about. He didn't think that using tap water would be as clean as the other water his mom buys him at the store.

Then Tim gets hit on the head by a bottle of water and falls into a deep sleep. During his dream he sees many objects talking to him and telling him why tap water is just as good as bottled water. The toothbrush tells him that he brushes his teeth in tap water and his teeth are as white as pearls. The shower faucet tells him that he washes himself in tap water and he is always very clean. The flower vase tells Tim that as a plant he drinks from tap water and still grows big and strong and looks beautiful. The washing machine says that he washes his clothes in tap water and the clothes still come out fine. They are very clean and absolutely spotless. Then the dishwasher reminds Tim that he eats off the plates that get washed in tap water. The dishes come out spotless and don't hurt him when he eats off of them. The faucet in the kitchen tells Tim that he washes his hands in tap water and that's how they come out so germ1ess and clean. Then he hears his pet goldfish telling him that he swims in tap water and that he lives a happy and healthy life. The goldfish tells Tim that he lives and survives in tap water, and it's what many fish like him do. The goldfish also tells him how it is healthier for the environment than using bottled water. Bottled water produces many plastic bottles that need to be recycled. While Tim is sleeping, he learns that a lot of things use tap water.

He realizes that he actually uses tap water more than he thought.

Slowly Tim starts to wake up from his amazing and strange journey. His mom was relieved to see that her son was okay. When Tim wakes up, he now knows plenty of reasons why he and others should use tap water instead of bottled water. Tim learned a lot during his dream, and it was quite ironic that it all started from getting hit on the head with a water bottle. He learned that tap water is healthier for the environment, and it tastes just the same as the bottled water his mom buys at the grocery store. He also learned that he uses tap water more than he thought, and that even his pet fish swims and lives in it.

Now, Tim knew the importance of using tap water. He also knows a lot of information on how tap water is better for the environment. It is just as good and healthy as bottled water. He could use this information and would be sure to get a great grade on his project! Tim certainly didn't expect his accident to lead to getting a good grade on his project, but it gave him more than he ever expected. Tim continued to learn more and more about this subject. He became so interested in the benefits of tap water that he eventually became an employee of MWRA. Tim is very proud of his job position and the success of MWRA.

The MWRA serves many residents and is responsible for the water supply to many cities and towns. Two hundred fifteen million gallons of tap water is used per day. The quality of the tap water is tested each step of the way. The MWRA uses six general tests for quality.

They check microbial, turbidity, corrosiveness, disinfectant, chemical, and radionuclides. There is no doubt that eastern Massachusetts' residents use reservoirs that are some of the largest and contain the highest quality of water in the world.
