Happy New Year, Teachers and Students! Below is a quick overview of this year's contest rules and deadlines. Links to more detailed information are posted on the right-hand side of this page, and a complete package of rules, printable forms and details is available for download. Good luck!

Poster Contest Topic
For the poster contest, students are being asked to create a poster to convince others of the benefits of tap water. Posters will be judged in three grade level categories: K-2, 3-5, and 6-8.

Writing Contest Topic
For the writing contest, students are being asked to develop a public relations campaign to promote the benefits of tap water. Writing entries will be judged in three grade level categories: 3-5, 6-8, and 9-12.

Contest Deadline
The contest deadline is Tuesday, March 18, 2008. Early entries are encouraged and can be sent at any time.

Required Forms and Labels
Every group of student entries must have a Contest Registration Form and each entry must have a Student Label attached securely to the back of the entry. These are included in this packet and can also be downloaded from the MWRA’s website.

How to Submit Contest Entries
All entries must be mailed to:

Who is Eligible to Enter
The contest is open to any student who attends a school located in the MWRA Service Area.
