Pursuant to Chapter 139 of the Acts of 2006, the MWRA has submitted a report to the Legislature that includes: an analysis of the options for reducing operating costs; the use of operation and maintenance contracts with private entities; and legislation that may be necessary to effectuate cost saving recommendations.
